Jamaica and UK Reggae Artist "Futureman" Single - "Let the Children Grow" Tops Charts at #1- Global Linkz Radio News February 4/ 2012

Born Zemroy Thomas, Futureman was raised in Browns Town St Ann, Jamaica. Influenced by the rich diversity of the Jamaican music scene, he started writing his own songs at age 12, and performed at a wide range of street dances and singing competitions as a teenager, winning more than he lost.

Since settling in the UK in 2002, fusing Dancehall, Reggae and Hip-Hop into an eclectic vibe, Futureman has established himself as one of the more versatile performers on the scene. In 2008 he released his debut album, "I Am Good Enough." The tracks on the album are written by Futureman except for track 17, which is a collaboration with White. The Album was produced by Edixion, Roadz and Neno.

At a time when negativity rules, his lyrics - a mix of the constant struggles of life and how we should count our blessings - are based upon his experiences in Jamaica’s ghetto life, yet focus upon positivity and optimism, leaving violence and pessimism at the door. The Album was produced by Edixion, Roadz and Neno.

In February 2012 his new single "Let The Kids Grow" was the voters choice on Global Linkz Radio New Artist Top 10 Chart in the first week at #1 as hundreds of voters from around the world flocked to the stations website to support the song/artist with their votes. The song is a lash out against child molesters and child abusers.

Interestingly, outside of music Futureman works as a key worker at a special needs school, where he serves children with Autism, ADHD and Tourette's syndrome. Despite his grueling schedule, he still manages to perform frequently in Kent and surrounding counties in the United Kingdom.

Futureman has recently completed the recoding of his new uplifting album "Rise Again" which will be available for download from VP Records at the end of February 2012.

So who is Futureman? Well, he’s the future, man...
